On Moon 16, Bark Step was born to Leafstar and Millipede Fur alongside her siblings: Thorn Whisker, Jay Claw, and Dusk Heart. No matter how hard Millipede Fur attempted to keep Bark Steps' fur clean, she always seemed to find dry nettles stuck in it.Bark Step couldn't shake the call of the medicine cat den; she becomes a medicine cat apprentice and is mentored by Azalea Pool

Bark Step is a short-furred, black broken-mackerel torbie cisgender molly with spring green eyes. She is of average height (8.58"), with an intermediate body type. There are dry nettles stuck in her fur.
